Talk Nerdy to Me: 5 Favorite Late To The Game TV Discoveries

For better or worse, I pride myself on seeing basically every TV show that's been made. But, that doesn't mean a few haven't slipped through the cracks. Here are my five favorite late to the game TV discoveries:

Talk Nerdy to Me: 5 Favorite Late To The Game TV Discoveries

1) Sherlock.

I've been on the Sherlock train for a while, but I still didn't start watching it until season two was already out and on Netflix. I remember it constantly showing up on my recommended list, and I'm kicking myself for not starting it sooner (though maybe it's good that I saved myself so many years of waiting for the next episode to air!).

2) Black Mirror.

I can only handle Black Mirror in small doses because it really messes with my head, but I think it's some of the best TV I've ever seen.

3) Misfits.

You may have noticed a pattern: that I keep discovering British shows five years after I should have started watching them. Misfits combines so many of my favorite things (comedy, super powers, British accents), and I'm so glad I finally found it.

4) Bored to Death

I totally missed the boat on Bored to Death, but once I found it I couldn't get enough. (Added bonus: a lot of it was filmed in my old neighborhood!)

5) Game of Thrones

I've actually been watching Game of Thrones since episode one, but I wasn't into it at all until the end of season two. I didn't care about any of the characters, and I couldn't tell Robb Stark and Jon Snow apart. Needless to say, I've seen the error of my ways. And now I'm dying waiting for the finale!

Are there any other "hidden" gems I should be watching? Leave a comment and let me know!
