Coffee Break: Femme Magnifique

I almost never pay attention to KickStarter projects, but I'm so glad my friend Che Grayson told me about the comic anthology she was going to be a part of.

Femme Magnifique is a collection of 50 three-page stories written and drawn by 50 sets of people about 50 different incredible women. The subjects range from spies to artists, from Sally Ride to Michelle Obama. You'll see some familiar faces as well as learn about some inspirational women you've probably never heard of (which is its own separate problem to be adressed).

One of my favorite aspects of this book is that the stories share a connection between the author and the woman she's writing about. Some of these women have been personal inspirations while others have been role models through many generations.

Please, please pick up this book. You won't be disappointed.
